Camping Lac Frontière – Muskellunge Fishing Tournament

Longest Muskie

The 3 longest muskies caught will receive a special prize.

Youth Prize

Muskies Canada Montréal Chapter will be giving the youth special prize to a angler under 18 who will catch the longest muskie.

Participation Prizes

There will be participation prizes at the award ceremony. That will be held at the camping Sunday at 11am.

5@7 on Friday June 19

There will be a 5@7 the day before the tournament (Friday 19 june) at the Camping Lac-Frontière. There you can pick up the ruler for your team. Members of the Muskies Canada Montréal Chapter will be there to give a formation on how to use the FishDonkey App and giving catch and release tips. 

A handy measuring ruler

The official tournament ruler is mandatory. You must pick up the ruler at the camping Lac-Frontière and bring it back after the tournament on Sunday.

Rules

  • The tournament runs from Saturday, June 20th at 5:00 AM to Sunday, June 21st at 11:00 AM
  • The tournament area includes Frontier Lake and the Great Northwest Black River
  • Catches must be recorded using the Fish Donkey app
  • Each catch record must include one or more photos of the fish on the measuring ruler where the measurement is clearly visible.
  • Each capture record must include a video of the catch being released back into the water.

How to Register?

Only the captain of each team registers and pays for the entire team.

  2. Create a FishDonkey Account
  3. Select “Fish in a Tournament”
  4. Join (search) “Lac Frontiere”
  5. Choose team of 1, 2, 3 or 4
